| | | This restaurant is disgraceful. Whilst the food wasn't too bad it really suffered from a major staff shortage and inexperience. Our table of 4 waited forever to order and obtaining drinks was near on impossible. We observed one drink order sitting at the bar for 10 minutes on a tray. Our waiter did not have a clue and when we commented on how bad things were he said yes we are bad aren't we.
After 40 minutes waiting for our desert order we just gave up and asked for the bill. We got that 10 mins later. When we confronted the manager he told us that someone had not turned up and that they also had 2 new waiters on. He then had the hide to say that customers should be a bit patient and understanding with regard to the situation. That may be fine but the time to explain that was when we entered the restaurant. At this time he could have explained the situation and given us a choice on whether to stay or not. By seating us and then allowing us to receive such rotten service was both deceiptful and cowardly. It ruined a birthday celebration for our party of 4.
I would not recomend this dump to anyone.

| | Surprised to hear a negative review for this place. We've eaten here once (keep meaning to return) and it was a pleasant night for us.
What I like about this place is the fact that it has an AUSSIE theme and not the usual american decorations. The whole dead animals stuck to the walls and lotsa USA number plates scene is so passe.
The wine list wasn't anything flash but provided a good selection in the lower end of the price range. They also had a cocktail menu available (a big plus for me). Food was fairly good, portions were generous. Service was a little slow but not too bad.
The only thing I could criticise was the toblerone mousse, waaaaaaaaaaay too rich. | |
