The hotel was reminiscent of a backpackers lodge, with strange odours and dubious stains on the upholstery. If this is what they consider a 4.5 star boutique hotel then they really should get out more. After being taken to our room we decided to have some lunch to try and salvage our weekend away. The food was so awful that we decided to drive straight back to Sydney for dinner. This whole exercise only cost us 50% of the room price and they had the cheek to double charge our credit card. AVOID! |

Romantic intimate setting, however cusine and service were both disapointing. Beef tenderloin was ordered medium rare yet was served a faint pinky-grey. Service was unattentive and almost rude. If Echoes is meant to be one of the finer restaurants in the region, we won't be rushing back for the food. | |
