I ate there recently and was disapointed that the char grilled Octopus wasn't available in the evening, so I had fish and chips instead. Anyway they served it out of a bay marie and it looked like it had been there for hours, probably since lunch when they are busiest.

I requested a fresh one and they then served up the same stuff they tried to give me before. So I went and found the Manager and they gave me my money back. It seems your better of getting food from the take away and then bringing it into the back area, cheaper too.

I love Doyles. It's a great place to take visitors to Sydney.
I've never had a bad meal there.

I'm not a big fish eater but it is always lovely.

I only ever order fish in 2 places.
Doyles - beer batter fish and chips
Grotta Capri - the crumbed dory.

Sunday at Doyles is a mad house you HAVE to book.
