 my two cents - dont bother It has been an extremely disapointed experience having dined in Big John despite the fact that many friends have brought to my attention the generous serving sizes. There are few things i should point out here, first of all the service was possibly the worst i have ever encountered. We were waiting in the outside for more than an hour and a half, what i got from the waitress after a cold night outside the restaurant was "i cant do anything, if you dont like it, you can leave!" what the f*** ? The food served although was generous in size, but lack of elegance. Speaking of value, its not necessarily! Perhaps it is a place only for filling up instead of enjoying a PROPER dinner. Ambience was disappointing too, cutomers are seated in a completely squashed up tables, i am beginning to wonder if that was meant to be "warmth" then i think in general, people would consider absolutely uncomfortable. my two cents - dont bother. |

 crap i agree my experience was equally hideous .....in this case less is definitely more and more is un - imaginable |

| I went to this restaurant last Saturday and it was awesome.The steak was the biggest Tbone that I have ever seen.The other food was excellent. Service was also excellent..the waiters and waitressess always gave service with a smile. I nearly cancelled my trip there because of the bad comments.I think that they were fantastic.Much better than say sebel in Parramatta which serves rabbit food!! 10/10 |

| Big Johns probably the worst restaurant we have ever been to in sydney. Food was absolutely crap, service (what there actually was) was down right rude, and yet this is an extemely popular restaurant in the southern suburbs.
