Post Kellicar Lane@ Macarthur Square.

There's new eateries opened up at the Square, has anyone tried any? What do you think?
I've just returned from Thai Splendid, late lunch early dinner, and had a nice meal....not the best ever but nice . We ordered one Chicken Panang Curry, not much meat in it but a zesty sauce, and one chefs special, a sizzling seafood plate, plenty of seafood in this with a lovely seafood sauce. The meal is served with steamed rice and the girls will refill your plate when asked.
The cost was just about $40 for 2, with 2 cokes.
The tables are large square wooden things with bare wooden benches or stools, this was a bit uncomfortable on the old cheeks but there were a couple of padded chairs at another table, wish I had asked for that table!
The restaurant itself was quite cold inside as the doors are left open so I would say you're not encouraged to linger.
All in all we enjoyed the meal and service, the atmosphere is quite bare and stark so I would rate it 6/10.
I'm hoping to try the next restaurant along next week, so I'll keep you posted on my opinion.

Default Euro Bar & Grill

Eat there last night, Wednesday. Food was very nice, flavourfull and presented well.
I had the seafood platter for one, nice fresh seafood, lovely chips and all freshly cooked.
She who must be obeyed had the Salmon, which was served with chips and salad, very nice.
The service was prompt, (maybe because the place was quiet) but the restaurant itself was welcoming with a nice feel about it.
The seating was comfy and no squeezing into small tables
Total bill for 2 meals, Coke, Beer and 1 Coffee $68.
Had a good meal, left feeling full and will certainly return again. 8/10
Next week Panarottis, I'll keep you posted.

Thumbs up Turkoise

Didn't make Panarrotties this week, visited Turkoise instead.
I can highly recommend the Lamb Shanks, so tender and delicious, the meat just falls off the bone. A very tasty meal. The staff are very helpfull and friendly and the prices are good for what you get.
I'de give it a 8/10.
