| | | Food Quality Getting Worse My family and I have gone to Lonestar at Springwood in Queensland religiously for almost 5 years since my coming to Australia from the U.S.. I grew up on Lonstar Baby Back Ribs. Up untill a few weeks ago nothing changed, they were great. Now, however, the quality of taste has gone out the window. Seems more like your eating "boiled" ribs with no taste than barbecued ribs. They have lost the original taste and we just won't waste our money again. This American will go elsewhere. |

| | | Worst Experience Ever My family and I went to a nearby Lonestar for dinner. It was awful. It wasn’t until we received our bill that I had the last straw. They charged us for 2 20 oz. Filets. We ordered 2 12 oz. Filets. So the manager came out and basically looked at me like a liar which made me more mad. I would have paid for the extra ounces but it was the point.
So after I paid for dinner and sat there for 15 minutes waiting for my change, I was shorted 15 dollars in change. But the waiter was so quick to run away after giving me my change that I didn’t realize it until he was gone. Being that they treated me like a liar after disputing the receipt, I didn’t even say anything after that. I just knew that I would never come back again. And the 15 dollars he shorted me ended up being his tip.

| | Ordered our meal. Mine came with blond hairs in it. I have brown. Told the waitress excuse me please look at this. She looked and left while I simply waited. Out came a young man who loudly said "ok where's the problem lady." We said "no problem lady, just a problem meal". They replaced it with something horrible. A bad attitude, slow service. Did not stay long. Not hungry.
Rang later spoke to the real manager who said he was so sorry about his fill in and would send a voucher as a apology. It never came!

| | The worst restaurant I've ever been to. A booked table, 45 minutes to even take our order, cold food and wrong orders. Long waits between courses and not a person to complain to. I emailed Lonestar, twice before I got a reply and only then after I said that their email responses were as bad as their restaurant service, they finally responded and sent me coupons for a free meal. Gave it another go and the food was just as bad. Will never go back again. |

| | Lonestar....Yuk Terrible service, long wait for cold meals, no atmosphere, diners made to feel it's a big deal that they're being served.
Place needs a change of management and the staff trained properly on how to wait tables and serve guests. I won't be back. | |
