Great if you have young children as they provide colouring in books and pizza dough for the kids to play with. Good gourmet pizzas. 3 course special is good value for money.

I've been to GPK several times with different groups of people. I've been so many times (i work in the area) that i've noticed a difference. They are either really great or they are really bad. It depends on who's working and what type of crowd you go with really but when they are bad:

They seem to mix up your orders or forget pizzas entirely until you remind them there's one missing. The younger male waiters in particular are rude and lazy. One once slapped a notepad down, asked us to write down our order and said he'd be back to pick it up and they really dont like it if you're anywhere near the doorway while they set up the table you prebooked (which by the way won't be ready for another 15 minutes).

In summary, the pizzas are ok for the price but overall a bit skimpy and certainly not good enough to be worth the risk of encountering them on a bad day again.

GPK is fantastic for kids and adults, They get extremely busy and the staff at times could use some extra hands they all run around the whole night while being polite, curtious and have always tried to accomadate any special requests they we may have. There has been one occasion that my pizza was forgotten (were all human), the staff rushed it through and were very apoligetic. GPK is fantastic however if you do want to sit and have to long meal GPK on a busy night is not really to ideal place as there is often a line outside waiting to get in. My comendations to the staff they really do an excellent job.

I have dined here in the past and agree with that the concept is great and the children are entertained However. We attempted to dine there recenntly and as a large group meeting 15 minutes before opening we sat outside till the doors opend. One waited then proceeded to come out and abuse us for having the hide to rearrange tables and not come in - they were closed!. We then went in and were told by another waiter that we were fine to sit there as the group arrived and thank you for telling us that we woul be a large group. We were then approched and abused by the first waiter who yelled at us and said how dare we rearrange his tables and how rude we were and do we really expect that he would serve us out here. We proceeded to leave at this stage as he did not want us to dine there.
I dine out a lot and NEVER have I been treated in such an offhand and rude manner. All 16 of us will never be back. We went to the local Chinese who were happy to accept our business.
