 One of those nightmare dining experiences where nothing goes right. We had big problems because the menu did not represent what was being served. For example; we ordered ground beef wrapped in baby eggplant, what we recieved was an omelette with shredded eggplant and ground beef. In our mind two completely different dishes and a problem when your partner can't eat eggs. When our mains came and my partners spatchcock was served on an eggy omletty base (again not identified on the menu), and my medium beef came out stone cold, it was time to call it quits, go home, and try to salvage something out of what was a special occassion. We were not charged for the meal, probably because we did not eat anything, except for the bread, which we did pay for along with the corkage. Thank goodness for the wine. |
