After eating at fin a few years ago I was unsure whether a return visit was such a good idea, but I so very pleased I did return. The menu has been totally revamped and upgraded(in my opinion). We opted for the new main course plate, supposed to offer four different seafood dishes. Well, hurrah for the new chef, apparently a pom from newcastle. We were brought little bitesize pieces of tandoori cod on a tzatsiki with mint leaves, then a huge rectanglular plate of the most amazing things I've ever seen. A blue swimmer crab omelette (with half a poached crab) asian chilli jam and goats curd (or cheese), a confit salmon stack with avocado and salmon roe, beer battered blue eyed cod with the biggest chips I've ever seen(pea puree also) and a brochette of scallops and bacon on spinach with a fantastic bearnaise, with a real tarrogon bite!. The waitstaff were attentive and good looking, the wine beatiful and dessert, don't get me started. the pastry chef deserves a rise!!
Check it out at all costs.

I have found fin to be very average, food wise. The service is great but the food was ordinary. We were there with a table of 8 people, with 2 children aged 8 and 7. There was no children's menu available which was not great.

There is a kids menu i don't know what you're talking about?
Kids fish, pasta, steak and risotto.
It's been there since I've started working there and I've been there almost a year. Great place!
