I ate there 2 weeks ago and found the service fine and the food (pizza and Lasagne) great.
No complaints from me.

| | Starved and Thirsty We went to celebrate our 2 year anniversary at The Bite because they seel Gluten Free Pizzas and my husband is a Coeliac. What a mistake! We were casually greeted by our waiter who dumped the menus on the table and didn't return for another half hour to take our order. Twenty minutes later he returned with a glass of warm tap water and a coke. (Don't order water, seems that because they don't charge you for it they don't care to much about whether you can drink it!) An hour later they return with our food which I have to say tasted great. Only problem is that by that stage we had nothing to drink because we had drank it all while we waited. We ordered another drink and stared eating dinner. Don't know how many of you can have a whole pizza without a drink. By our third slice we were suffering from indigestion and no sign of our drinks. We ordered our drinks for a second time and waited. Fifteen minutes later - no drinks. My husband went over to the bar a order drinks for a third time and was told that someone would bring them out. Waited another fifteen minutes and called it a night.
I was shocked with the service that we received and the only reason we went there was because we were recommended by the Coeliac Society. People should have to starve before they are fed or beg for a drink with there meal. You'd think that if your paying for your meal they would at least make you feel a little welcome. There are other Gluten Free pizzerias in Sydney - you don't have to resort to this one. |

I dined at the bite for my birthday dinner on a sat, we didn't book and they were able to seat us straight away. The waitress was very helpful, and our drinks arrived in good time. The food however seemed to take forever. I order the meatlovers pizza, it was awful tasted really sweet not savoury- the meat was minced and i didn't even see any beef! My friend ordered another pizza that was awful but chunky with huge strips of beef and whole cloves of garlic on each slice! The risotto was hard and the seafood dishes made limited seafood and huge sides. However the fetticine bosciola was beautiful!
Probably wouldn't bother to go again for only one good dish!
