Like the Circular Quay City Extra this is also a 24 hour venue. Unfortunately the Parramatta City Extra definately under performs.

We stopped in about 10pm on a week night so it was very quiet, even so it took some time to be seated. Prices seemed fairly expensive and nothing sounded overly appealling.

We ordered some coffees and that was the last we seen of our waitress that night. 45 minutes later we were still waiting for our coffee to arrive. We got the attention of another waitress who wouldn't serve us (not her table) but promised to send the manager over.

The manager promised to sort out our order before dissapearing as well (maybe there was a black hole in the kitchen that was swallowing the staff).

It was another half hour (still no coffee) wait before we decided that it was all a waste of time. When we left they tried to charge us for the coffees that never turned up.

Disgraceful, will NEVER return. City Extra need to lift their game....

What good is a mind if you can't change it?

We reccently returned to City Extra quite late & very hungry on a monday night. Staff were busy, yet cordial giving assurances they would be back to seat us ASAP.

Venue is relatively clean given the problems with maintaining a 24hr venue. There was also a marked improvement with staff attitudes. Our waiter was pleasant & relatively quick to take an order and deliver drinks. Food service was a little slower but the meal was well spaced.

I found my order was a touch bland but my partner was happy with his meal.

City Extra would not be my first pick during normal trading hours but as a late night venue is an adequate choice. I just wanted the chance to address my previous reveiw for this venue and commment on the improvements made.
