This place is terrible. The waitress was uninterested in serving me, she didn't even as much crack a smile when I entered the restaurant and when I was ready to leave had to run out the back of the restaurant to get change for me, as she hadn't put the change in the till as yet.

The food arrived lukewarm (despite being the only customer in the restaurant), of poor quality and in tiny overpriced serves. The miso soup was tiny, lukewarm and tasted as if it had been in a pot for several days. The agedashi tofu was lukewarm, the tofu hard and again tasted like it had been sitting around for several days (in fact the agedashi tofu tasted like prepackaged deep fried tofu that I have bought before to try, not freshly cooked food). The sashimi was paper thin, of only 2 kinds and poor quality. Good agedashi tofu and sashimi should melt in you mouth, the tofu had to be chewed and the sashimi was so paper thin i barely noticed i was eating it.

It was a huge, huge, huge disappointment. I normally eat Japanese at Carlingford, and in comparison, $30 there leaves me totally stuffed and having enjoyed a good meal, but this place for the same price left me feeling ripped off, and as if I had wasted my time.
