Now called Indulgence but hardly worth the money they charged.
The evening started on a bad note when I had to ask for a menu.
When ordering drinks it seemed nobody knew what Scotch was available and the strawberry Daquiri was nothing more than Gin and flavouring with ice cubes!!!
Getting past this start we tried to order but I had to ask three different waitresses for:
what was the Soup of the Day
What cut was their Indulgence Steak
What was their Fish of the Day and how was it cooked
with three different answers we took a guess and ordered the 2x Crabmeat and Prawn cocktail, Satay Chicken for starters.
Not a cocktail and the crabmeat is straight of of the tin
Mains were Marinated Kangaroo & Gnocci Indulgence:
Unfortunately the Kangaroo came out somewhat less then warm and barely edible as it had been burned on the outside, missing roasted shallots and the port balsamic glaze was mearly a Mr Squiggle desiggn on the rim of the plate.
Desert was no better with only three to choose from:
Cheese Cake, Chocolate Pudding and a French Kiss.
We all went for the French Kiss only to discover that it was strawberries and Grandmanier & Icecream which was a problem for one of our guests that was Lacttose intollerant.
Lets not talk about the Coffee. Because the Deserts and Coffees were not on the Menu I had to ask the Manager what was available. He's reply was - tell me what you want and I'll make it. Eventually I said just surprise us.
I don't know what we got so it wasn't that bad except I had to ask for the segar.
At almost $100 a head I'd suggest avaoiding it like the plague.....ohh and when I mentioned some of these comments to the Manager he asked me who served us - I said all three of your waitresses.
